Cashless Roadside Assistance in Major Expressways Now Available!

Effective June 1, 2019, “Cashless Roadside Assistance” service (subject to benefit limit) within the following major expressways will be available for Standard Insurance Roadside Assistance Program (RAP) members:

·      North Luzon Expressway (NLEX)

·      Tarlac - Pangasinan Expressway (TPLEX)

·      South Luzon Expressway (SLEX)

·      Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)

·      South Metro Manila Skyway and ground-level expressway from Magallanes to Alabang (SOMCO)

·      NAIA-X

·      STAR Tollways 

All customers who will be requesting for Cashless Roadside Assistance service within the above-mentioned expressways have to contact our 24/7 RAP hotline for coordination and inform our Customer Service Officer (CSO) of the specific location inside the expressway. 

They will be assisted by AAP service personnel who will provide onsite repair or towing service to the nearest exit where an IBERO accredited tow truck shall be waiting to pick-up and bring the unit to the delivery garage. If the cost of service exceeds the customers’ benefit limit, our CSO shall notify person onsite and AAP will be authorized to collect payment for the excess amount only. A provisional receipt will be issued by AAP when excess payment is made.  

Cashless service applies only to towing (due to breakdown or accident) and/or minor onsite repairs such as battery jumpstart, change of flat tire and delivery of emergency fuel. Impounding fees and damage to properties are not covered under the Roadside Assistance Program.
