Bringing Knowledge to Remote Communities
Teachers Winston Castillejos and Asela Ali of Dilam Primary School in Calayan Island proudly receive solar-powered Kindle Readers from Standard Insurance representatives Ernesto Echauz and Noel Canivel.
These Kindle devices are preloaded with over 2,000 books, covering a wide range of topics including:

This meaningful donation is set to benefit more than 200 students, giving them access to valuable learning resources despite the school’s remote location.
Reaching the Northernmost Edge
Dilam Primary School is located in one of the northernmost parts of the Philippines, accessible only by a six-hour boat ride through challenging waters. The area has limited to no electricity and telecommunications, making this initiative even more impactful.
Powering Education with Innovation
With the help of solar-powered technology, students can now explore a world of knowledge anytime—bridging the gap between isolation and education.
